Quickly opening the door, Tsuki jumped in and shut the door as the last puppets came around the corner.

"Hit it." he said, reloading his weapon.

Zyun released his foot from the clutch and jammed down the gas, as the rotarary engine roared to life. He started speeding off in first gear, the car mounted to 6000 rpms and he switched to second, this continued until they were gone from the scene. "Damn, I still wish I could fly."

Tsuki looked at his partner.

"And now what?" he asked. "That damn witch is bound to follow us." He checked his gun to make sure it was loaded and working.

OOC: IT LIVES IT LIVES!

Zyun followed the witch as far as he could see, breaking about every traffic law in the process. This was not a good direction to be going. They were nearing a river, with only one bridge across. It was rush hour. The witch continued to fly right passed the stopped cars. Zyun drifted to a stop before entering the traffic jam. "God dammit..." His face slammed into the horn leaving it there for long enough to draw stares. He turned to Tsuki, "What would you say we do now?"

Tsuki tracked the flying S-Class with his eyes even as the car came to a complete stop.

"Damn..." he muttered. He looked into the passenger's side rearview mirror when he heard a faint revving noise. In the distance, he saw some motorcycles threading their way through the crowded highway.

"Do you have the authority to commandeer those things?" he asked with a grin on his face.

OOC: holy shit. that about sums it up.

OOC: NOTE: Boots, the word you were looking for was "commandeer," not "accomodate." i fixed it for you :p

Zyun shifted into reverse and parked perfectly in the Tall-Mart parking lot he drifted into. The sound of two doors opening and shutting could barely be heard due to way too much love for the car. Zyun loved the car so much he modified the doors so that they barely made any noise and could not be slammed shut as that might scratch the paint. Zyun and Tsuki ran over to the couple of motorcycles on the bridge. After flashing their badges the bikers got off and sat down on the curb, slightly bummed out. Zyun wheeled his over to the shoulder of the road and turned to Tsuki. "Are you sure you can handle that thing, it's a bit bigger than a vespa." Zyun didn't care about the response, it would probably have a bit too much whine to it and time was important. He kick started the bike and started revving the engine. Smoke rose from the rear tire as it moved back and forth in a small arc. Right as Tsuki was about to respond, he let the brakes go and flew off down the shoulder.

Tsuki snorted. He could handle a bike. Copying Zyun movements, he revved up the bike and then released the brakes, following Zyun off the shoulder. He glanced up to the sky. The S-Class was much farther in the distance now. They'd have to hurry to catch up. Now that traffic didn't seem to be an issue, travel was much easier. After just a few minutes, the S-class came into sight again.

"Hurry!" he yelled.

Zyun was having much more fun with this than he should have. He was cruising about 80 mph now and was only slowly catching up with the witch. He reached down and dropped back into 4th gear. The engine roared as it got back into the power band. 85...90...95...100...110...120. He was about to blow the engine. He shifted back into 5th and maintained his speed. Now he was making progress. The witch just made it landside, he'd be there in a couple of seconds.

Kayo chuckled nervously and nodded, her knuckles white from gripping Kenji's jacket. When they were at last on the solid top of the building, she felt her knees give out and gripped the man's arms for support. "Sorry... I feel kind of dizzy...", she mumbled, her vision slightly blurry. "I'm such a clutz... I can't do anything. I want to help fight the witch but...". She stared down at the ground, contemplating silently as Kenji held her.

OOC: dang... it's been so long, i had to go back a few pages to remember what was going on, lol.

"Are you quite done?" Kenji asked the girl in a rather irritated tone of voice. "Unless you want to be stuck behind a desk for the rest of your career, I suggest you get over it and get back into action. We should've been moving fast enough to get any particles off of you, and as far as I can tell, that witch is on the run, so he or she has probably forgotten about you anyway." The craft-user turned around, looking over the tops of the nearby buildings to get a fix on the witch, and seemed to have gotten one after a few moments. "If you hurry, we can catch up. I think I saw some motorcycles doing some pretty illegal stuff near where we left Zyun and Tsuki. It must be them."
